Die Fledermaus

Comme son frère jumeau le Salon du Soleil, le Salon de La Lune se trouve dans le Palais Garnier. Je trouve cet endroit magique, m'attendant à voir surgir des petits êtres surnaturels à chaque détour de colonne... j'ai été enchantée quand, alors que je prenais ce plafond en photo, un air d'opéra se mit à virevolter doucement dans l'air... je me suis en mon fort intérieur qu'ils faisaient vraiment très bien les choses à passer une bande-son pour permettre aux visiteurs d'apprécier l'acoustique du lieu. Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise quand je compris qu'il s'agissait en fait du gardien de la bibliothèque attenante qui -se croyant seul- vocalisait en attendant l'heure proche de la fermeture.

Both "Sun Lounge" and "Moon Lounge" are located in Palais Garnier. I like that place very much, really magical, hoping for leprechauns to pop out from behind a pilaster... while I was shooting that ceiling an aria gently came from nowhere. I was enchanted, thinking that they really made the visit extraordinary by tuning some music to show people the accoustic. What a surprise when I found out that it was an attendant gently singing: it was near closing time and he thought he was alone...
